What we've shipped, what's next.

We're a small team and Cove is new. This page shows what we've built, what we're working on now, what's queued, and what we're still thinking about. Updated when state actually changes — not on a schedule.

How to read this

Items in 'Shipped' are live and usable. 'Now' means actively in progress this month. 'Next' means queued and likely soon. 'Later' is exploratory — we may build it, may not, may build something different. We make no commitments on dates because we'd rather under-promise than miss them.

    Select multiple photos, ask one question, get one combined answer. Useful for menu translation runs.

    Health: better emergency routing

    When user describes a clear emergency, immediately surface local emergency numbers based on phone region. Bigger UX commitment than text disclaimer.

    Pending Apple's Foundation Models framework stabilizing in iOS 26+. We're watching, not building yet.

  • Travel

    Travel: live AR overlay

    If on-device performance allows, real-time camera AR similar to Google Lens. Explicitly later — currently a stretch goal.

  • Voice

    Voice: speaker diarization

    Detecting who-said-what in multi-person recordings. Models for this are heavy; may stay in 'later' for a while.

    5th Cove app (TBD)

    We're exploring what the 5th app should be. Candidates include focused notes, code reading, or financial document understanding. Email [email protected] with what you'd want.
